School Time Shows - Ticket Ordering FAQ

ORDERING

Fill out online order form for reservation requests and someone will respond to your request within 48 hours. If tickets are available to fulfill your request, you will receive an invoice via email.

Advance registrations are required for all performances. Reservations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

All tickets are $10 for groups 10+. For every 10 student tickets, you will receive one complimentary adult ticket.

The minimum order size for a group is 10 people. Orders under 10 can inquire about limited availability via email to ashley@playhousestage.org.

Final head counts are required no later than 30 days prior to the event date. Reservations will be in the school name; individual tickets will not be provided. When arriving to the theatre, our ushers will take you to your seats utilizing the school name on the reservation.

PAYMENT

Invoices are emailed promptly after order request is placed online. If you have not received an invoice, your reservation is not guaranteed. In the event we cannot accommodate your group for the selected date, you will receive information about additional dates that we can accommodate your group.

Payment is accepted by check, cash, credit card or purchase order and is due no later than 30 days prior to event date. Reservations not confirmed and paid by the 30-day deadline will be cancelled.

Playhouse Stage Co is happy to accept funding through BOCES! If using BOCES funding, we will receive a purchase order from them once school has completed necessary steps for funding.

CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

No refunds or exchanges will be made after the 30-day deadline.

Please be aware that we cannot guarantee seating for additional students or chaperones if the show is sold out - although we will make every effort to accommodate last minute additions when space permits.

Every attendee must reserve a seat. Remember to reserve seating for all teachers and chaperones as well as students.

If your school is cancelled due to weather, we will make every effort to put you into an alternate school time show performance, if available, or provide you with a credit for the 2024-2025 school year. Notification must be received prior to the performance. If your school is not closed and you choose to not attend a performance, we cannot make last minute alternate accommodations (after the 30-day mark).

SPECIAL NEEDS

Cohoes Music Hall accommodates mobility, hearing and visually challenged patrons to the best of our ability. Please advise of special needs when the order is placed so we can arrange accordingly when reserving your tickets.

TRANSPORTATION

Cohoes Music Hall can welcome school time patrons utilizing a variety of transportation methods. We ask that if groups arrive by BUS, that drivers drop off students in front of the music hall on Remsen Street. We will then direct drivers to parking in the rear of the building during the performance. Please place a piece of paper with your school name on both the drivers and passenger side front window for dismissal ease.

Groups arriving in cars or vans, please plan to park first in the municipal lot behind the music hall off of Cayuga Street, then walk to the front doors of the building via alleyway as a group.

If there are members of your group who are unable to access the theatre via stairs, please inform our staff and they will direct a small group to the elevator entrance in the rear of the building.

Please plan to arrive 15 to 30 minutes before the start time of the performance.
